1) My graphic novel takes place during the present time , and i know this from the clothing and style of society. My graphic novel takes place over a short period of time, because there isn't even a transformation from night to day, and the time of year is spring/summer based on the foliage.

2)My main character superman represents present day ideals by showing: selflessness (sacrifices himself to kill doomsday), caring (saves the people of metropolis), strength (fights doomsday).

3)I don't feel that the story would be altered that much. If the story was written in a different time period the the art style would change, and plot would change (superman wouldn't die) but the story changing time periods wouldn't change much of the story.

4) This story is real fictional because metropolis is a knock off of new york city and all of earths laws hold true other than the super creatures. If the setting were change it would change what superman would do to battle doomsday, but the fighting would more than likely still occur in much the same fashion.

1. The protagonist in my novel is superman, and other characters in the justice league.
2. The antagonist in my novel is doomsday.
3.1 Superman's powers revealed in this novel are super-strength, increased stamina and health, heat-vision, super hearing, and super vision./Superman's weakness's are emotion, and kryptonite
3.2 Doomsday's powers are super-strength, the ability to leap enormous distances, and bone protrusions that can be used as weapons/ Doomsday has no weakness.
4. People are drawn into superman's character because he is the perfect "do-gooder", and they are drawn into doomsday's character because he is a representation of unadulterated power.
5. This story is aimed at teens, and young adults. This can be seen because it has little to no childish story elements, and it isn't as mature as many comic books aimed at older generations. The characters portray this by there actions and speech
6. This character is familiar only in the way that we all faces challenges everyday, sometimes against nearly impossible odds.
