My graphic novel is about the release of a monster named Doomsday and the justice leagues attempt to thwart his desire to kill. The main characters are doomsday who is almost impossible to kill, and even when it is killed it respawns shortly afterwards, and cannot be killed the same way again, and superman who has super strength endurance heat vision and several other superpowers. The other characters are part of the justice league but they are not main characters. The main theme of this novel is self-sacrifice, this can be seen by the fact that throughout the novel the justice league and especially superman put themselves in harms way to defeat doomsday. Superman even eventually dies in the process of killing doomsday. The main conflict of this novel was the attempt to stop doomsday, who wanted nothing more than to destroy everything. My favorite part of this book was when superman died because I feel that he is overpowered, and acts to perfect. To me he is a very annoying character, and I was pleased to finally see him lose. The people who read this book are people who, want to see superman be defeated, and anyone who enjoys and action filled comic ending in “tragedy”.

 

The story begins with superman helping a race of people underground and then going to a news report. Mean while the monster begins rampaging through a city, and the justice league tries to fight him but can’t defeat him. Then superman is called to help and by then the justice league is defeated. Superman then battles with the creature, and they eventually kill each other at the same time.
